AUSTRALIAN SCHOOLS RUGBY UNION
GREAT PRE-SEASON TOURING OPPORTUNITY
The Sanix Tournament for Schools Teams in Japan in late April would have to be the best value for money and rugby experience as a rugby tour available.
The touring team has only to find their fares to and from Japan and the Sanix Sponsors cover all internal expenses—meals, accommodation, transfers, tours.
The Australian Schools Rugby Union will select one school from applicants to go each year.
Sanix is for individual school teams—8 come from Japan and 8 from other countries—such as England, South Africa, New Zealand, Korea, Russia, France, Chinese Taipai-as well as Australia.
The Sanix Tournament runs from April 26th to May 6th –this may require some adjustment of early season fixtures, but there could be no better preparation for a season than this tour . The range of games, experience against different opposition under different circumstances make for a nearly ideal preparation for a season.
The cost is very low—being essentially just the fares to and from Japan—for more economical than an equivalent tour to ,say, New Zealand.
Expressions of interest should be sent as follows and also any queries, or further information.
The ASRU will provide advice and information from one of its officials who is very familiar with everything about SANIX.
