In the second tour game the Australian Schools and Under18 Team had a touch of reality when, after fluctuating scores mad any outcome look possible, Ulster Under 18’s scored a converted try close to full time to take the lead at the critical stage of the game

The Australians started strongly with almost all of possession for the first twenty minutes, but the Ulster defence held them out. The Aussie scrum was again dominant, but this did not bring the expected rewards.

In the second half a good level of possession was frittered away with kicking and handling errors.

Ulster were able to keep possession for long periods with good handling. The Aussies showed dominance in several strong mid field drives, but again these came to nothing when possession was wasted.

The Australian Team’s next game is the Test with Irish Under18s in Dublin  this coming Saturday
